Matt has been playing the thunder cannons for well over a decade. He and Eric played together in a jazz cover band and a heavy metal original band. This has helped give Matt exposure to a variety of musical styles. Matt enjoys locking into the groove with Eric to create a solid foundation. Matt also enjoys placing supplemental rhythmic phrases that glide over the main groove.
